Decent online (music) radio shows? Recommendations?
Here is my favorite local station and a wee sample of what they play.

BBC 6Music has a number of different shows with different sorts of “cutting edge” music. I’d recommend that station if only because it was one of the last outlets of the late, great John Peel.

Create your own “radio station” using Pandora. Enter the names of artists or tunes you like, and it’ll give you other things that are in the same vein. If you enter a lot of diverse things, you’ll get a diverse mix back. I think they are pretty good at finding tunes I like.
I have started listening to the KCRW Eclectic24 show – you can find it on iTunes radio (as well as a great App for the iPhone). It’s introduced me to a lot of great new bands and interesting songs.
Would it be bad to plug my own show here? Every Tuesday night 10–12 EST you can listen here . The show is called eclectica and as the name implies, i play fuckin everything and anything on that show. If ya want to hear something new and different, this is the show for you.
