If you could go into one of your favorite novels or fairy tales and take with you some modern weapons or hi tech gadgets, what story would you go into, and what gadget(s) would you take?

Good question. I’d bring a gps to Hansel & Gretel. Imagine their surprise.

Hell no. I’d go in another direction completely. I’d take a cloak of invisibility and maybe some sort of shield and a travel device, but I would never presume to mess up the plot of another author. That would be like going back in time (and space) and changing history. No way, I’d be a silent observer, nothing more.
And I would visit The One land in the Thomas Covenant; White Gold Wielder Series. I’d also check out the Incarnations of Immortality, the world of Pern, where I may stay and impress my own dragon, Darkover, and the world of The Wheel of Time.
So there.

I’d go into Humpty Dumpty with a bunch of super glue I bought at the dollar store. Problem solved for under 5 bucks.

I don’t know. Do you think it would be possible to go into The Red Shoes with nothing more than a pair of scissors and a little common sense and be able to put that poor girl out of her misery?
