If you are a fan of Apple design, you may enjoy this:

Mr. Ive is strictly a hardware guy.
As for the Apple GUI, it really isn’t much more than a reskinned GNOME desktop like the *NIX community has been using for over a decade (about two years longer than OS X has existed) with a little AmigaOS thrown in. Sure, Apple threw a nice coat of paint on it, but the Apple GUI really isn’t all that special or revolutionary.
The GUI is awesome,it is made to the simplest form, like in ios,the interface is very simple, after you unlock, you just go the the app from the comfortable rounded square icons and after that each app is each app’s own business.
Its hard to explain but you can see the result is that very young kids can unlock and use iphone.
The garageband program also has a nice interface and its easy to use and without seeing the guitar icon ,you know its a music app because some of the buttons resembles buttons on an amplifier and the window is designed with bars with wooden texture on the side.
It may seem boring and lame to you but it just feels amazing to know all that detail is simply easy to use to a person who does not pay attention to it.
@vamtire I’ve seen that sort of stuff for quite a long time. It’s have been into computers long enough to watch them evolve. And I can safely say that there really isn’t anything new there that I didn’t see at least a decade ago aside from slick marketing.
I guess you never used any of the color Tandy computers, an Apple ][gs, or an Amiga 500. Practically the same interface as Mac OS X except that they were rendered in fewer colors at lower resolution since running 32-bit color at 1024×768 was something not even movie studios had access to.
As for iOS, I’ve seen implementations of embedded Linux and WinCE that were about on-par with iOS, which is in and of itself a rather limited OS compared to, say OS X or Windows 7.
I see Apple as evolutionary rather than revolutionary when it comes to software. Great hardware design, if a little dated spec-wise. Great build quality. Sexy looks. But the software…. nothing special if you can look past the marketroid hype.
We are all entitled to our opinions, of course, but many people have tried to change my mind over the last couple of decades. I’ve seen far too much to be impressed. A flaming stick may impress a caveman, but it won’t impress a welder.

the overall layout had been similar over the years but many detail had slight changes.Every detail is important like you see the the windows of safari is grey, the reason it is grey is that the web has all sorts of content and color and grey fits all those color as black and white(monotone) fits different hues and grey is in the middle of black and white making it fit different brightness and darkness of different colors.
I still gotta admit the GUI of apple software rocks, they make everything look to our eye as simply good.I think i shall email apple on the designer of the software interface!
I think the verse you quoted is talking about natural things like the water and wind
