How do start making an iPhone web app?

I have heard of a little site called www.apple.com that might be able to help you.

Lets just put it this way. Unless you are serious about making this app, or if you have some previous coding knowledge then you probably won’t be able to do it. I’m a web developer, and I’ve looked at the iPhone Developer SDK (I don’t know the languages that iPhone apps are built with) and it looked daunting to me.

Web-Apps are the same as Web-pages, just made to function properly for iPhone/iPod Touch. You will only need to know how to make a web-site, if you don’t know how to do that, you will need to learn a lot of Web-design languages, CSS, HTML, AJAX… There are some small templates for web-apps you can download, but you also need to know what you are dealing with in terms of coding.

Oh, sorry, my bad. Web-app…I somewhat assumed he was talking about a straight up app.
