I’m sure of myself and my husband. I’m sure that our son can continue to do well in school as long as he keeps wanting to do well. I’m sure that R&R will be wonderful.

@Ben_Dover

Were you expecting us to bend over for that one!! :)

Due to what’s happening in my life right now, I’m where I ‘should’ be, finally…taking one moment at a time and squeezing every bit of juice and sunshine out of it.

It’s one thing to ‘save for a rainy day’. And, quite another to define your life around concern for tomorrow. There may very well be one…but, we don’t know that.

ZEPHYRA's avatar

I am sure of nothing really. Nothing is stable or permanent or a given.

rooeytoo's avatar

You know what they always say, death and taxes although probably not in that order.

Other than that, there really isn’t much in this world that comes with an absolute guarantee, except the utter devotion of my dogs.

ucme's avatar

I’m sure that i’m at my computer right now when I should be taking the dog for her walk, byeee :¬)

I practice the delicate art of resultism. A+B=C. Trying to see as much as possible what reaction my actions have. Got to be grounded in universal truths, things that are more true for everyone all around the world, and in space. Ha, know that sounds wierd.

iammia's avatar

I’m sure i am where i should be right now.

Frenchfry's avatar

I am sure enjoying my coffee this morning.

Myself :-/ everything else I’m very sceptical of…...

How you let the external affect the internal is a piece of the proverbial pie in the mastery of life.
is it “affect” or “effect”

NaturallyMe's avatar

@truecomedian it’s effect….i think… :)

No, wait, now i’m not sure myself…. :0

NaturallyMe's avatar

I’m sure of the things that i enjoy (food, chocolates, desserts, crafts, cats, coziness, cappucino, clouds etc etc etc).
I’m sure about many things that i don’t like (having a boss, working too much, hot days, mosquitoes, loud noises, being lazy etc).
I’m not sure if i’m sure about myself…what does it mean to be sure of oneself?
I’m also sure of my name and my favourite colours.
I’m sure of many things, and unsure of many things.

Deja_vu's avatar

I’m charming. Good looking and rad!

stardust's avatar

I am sure that all I have is this very moment – nothing more, nothing less :)

BoBo1946's avatar

@stardust yes, me too….that is it.

The one thing I am sure of is every day I wake up I will do my best to get through that day….the rest is out of my control.

aprilsimnel's avatar

I’m sure it’s time to move to the next phase of my life.

wundayatta's avatar

Nada. Many things seem very likely, but I’m not 100% sure about anything.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

Death, taxes and McDonald’s.

janbb's avatar

I’m sure of my love for my sons and my sincere attempts to be honest with myself.

My Art History / Ceramics professor asked me once to tell him the truth (this was completely out of the blue – I had been glazing a piece at the time) and I thought about it for a moment and replied, “There is no singular truth; people view things differently.” He pointed to the space I had been working at and said, “What is that?” ... “A table.”

He said “exactly” and walked away.

I am no longer a skeptic. I believe in tables.

my capabilities

zenvelo's avatar

I am sure that if I don’t have a drink today, I won’t get drunk.

My shoe size changes by brand and time of day.
My height was different at my Doctor’s than I’d thought.
My favorite breakfast food changes with mood and hunger.

The_Idler's avatar

@zenvelo How can you be sure I’m not going to slyly IV you some ethanol?

phoebusg's avatar

I’m with @wundayatta on this one as well. I can say I am more sure about certain things than others. But not absolutely sure. That comes only to very well defined statements – such as that there is one truth out there, but nobody has the whole, we all hold little pieces filled with ignorance and fallacies. I’m also sure on the absence of the divine due to logical reasoning, or reasoning period. The rest is partial certainly, or “mostly” – but I keep an open mind to change.

Neizvestnaya's avatar

I’m sure I will have myself to count on for a long long time.

Scooby's avatar

I’m sure I’m on the mend, my breakfast stayed with me this morning :-/……. Hooray!!!!

Hawaii_Jake's avatar

@Scooby Get well soon.

zenvelo's avatar

@The_Idler – I’m not sure you could slyly give me an IV of anything!
