I’d like to have my art studio/gallery on the Outer Banks,NC :)
Hotel owner in Bora Bora… ;)
Photosopher.
which is exactly the job I have
I’d be so happy if i could make a good living from the creative thingies that i love making (cards and beaded things mostly). I love doing it, and the prospect of spending every day doing what i find really fun to do, is why this would be my dream job. I also wouldn’t mind hosting beading classes and such.
A stoned 007 secret agent that infiltrates cake making competitions as a tasting judge.
Safari guide in central Australia. I’d wear my pith helmet or slouch hat every day, drink beer in an aluminum shack with a bunch of guys who were as crusty as I am, and gladly go on secret missions to fight Nazis/Zombies/Aliens for the US or UK government anytime they needed it.
A lighting technician. This is a job where I would have a company owned vehicle (with it’s own hydraulic boom or lift), just working by myself or with one other person just worrying about troubleshooting/installing/repairing lighting fixtures and systems. I have done this before. If the pay was better this would be one of my dream jobs because it is a much lower stress job than being a maintenance technician in a manufacturing facilty or working for most contractors. I hate my current job, I switch jobs alot to only find the grass is not greener on the other side.
Astronaut. I wanted to be one as a kid, and never grew out of it. I think that would be the best job in the world.
@NaturallyMe Craigslist main is here. Find the city closest to you and run an advertisement about what you do.
Take some photos of your work and advertise it for parties, weddings, special events… Browse the categories and run multiple ads that are specific to different things.
Develop a quick curriculum and approach the YMCA or Girl Scouts and offer to teach a class.
A friend of mine wanted to be a worm farmer. No lie, for some reason he wanted to farm worms. He did all the usual stuff including developing a web site… but no luck. He then got the idea to start running ads on Craigslist to market his worms. He runs three ads a day, morning, afternoon, and evening. He was amazed to find so many people who wanted his worms and the soil he farmed them in. He is now a full time worm farmer and attributes his success to getting the word out on Craigslist.
You could also sell your creations on eBay. Sell finished products or package kits for DIY.
Just do it!
@RealEyesRealizeRealLies OH! LOL, here i thought you were making fun of me in that i’d never make a good living out of selling crafts, hehehe. Thanx a lot, i see even South Africa uses Craigslist! :D I’ll seriously look into it. :)
Storm Chaser. I absolutely love the weather and must see a tornado with my own eyes before I die.
Crafts are more popular than ever before @NaturallyMe. Take advantage of your hard earned experience. Everywhere I turn, people are looking for new ways to distinguish themselves as individuals. Crafts are an answer to that demand.
It’s big business in the wedding industry currently. Brides are looking to put on an affordable, yet memorable occasion for their guests. There is a bridal/wedding category on most Craigslists. Also, contact local Wedding Planners and check out the many Bridal Forums. There are numerous ways to market crafting to the Wedding industry.

I’d be a star on Broadway.

Commercial Airline Pilot
