Do porn stars ever have SO's? If so, how does the SO feel about their profession?

Glad you asked. When I was 19 I started dating one. She was in such classics as The Butt Sisters in New Orleans, Young and Anal 2 (maybe 3), The Violation of Felicia, and Cirque du Sex. At the time I thought I was a massive stud and so cool because of it…until I liked her more. Then I completely hated it, wanted her to quit, and we fought all the time. Probably broke up like 6 times in as many months. Definitely had some cool aspects, but mostly I just felt like I was being sucked into someone’s crazy vortex. She truly felt having sex was like shaking hands. Once I dropped her off at a place where some creepy old guy was going to make a film with her in Chicago. When I realized that didn’t bother me at all, I knew I was free from her.

I’d meet up with her here and there for the next several years, but never again since like 2000. Hope that answers your question, just one guy’s perspective.

I saw part of an E! type interview with Tera Patrick, who is a pretty well-known porn star. I think her husband was also in the biz, but I forget exactly how—not an actor, though. I think he was a producer / director. They seemed reconciled to it, and I think they had been married for quite a while.

I remember seeing a documentary about Jenna Jameson and I think her and her husband’s rule were that they could only film with each other or something like that.

I believe many of them date other porn stars.

Prostitutes sometimes have husbands who get off on seeing them do their job or hearing about it. There are certainly husbands who get off on seeing their wives with other men, doing it for free. It also seems that sometimes women want to get in the porn business after they’ve been married for a while.

It’s weird thinking that a man might like to see his wife with another man. I guess that if a porn star had a husband, he might find it very hot to see the movies of his wife with other guys. I don’t think very many men would put up with this.

Anyway, it happens. I don’t know how often it does. I’m pretty sure that it fucks up more relationships than it helps.
