Are you going/interested in going to the Stewart/Colbert rally in D.C.?
I’m extremely excited about it, and I’ve already told my Mum that I must go. Must!
How about you?

Oh, I desperately with I could. I really want to, but it’s too far.
I think I might contrive to be there.
I’ll wait for the reruns.
Already bought my train tickets.
I would love to, it seems like fun. Sadly, I’m not sure it’s a really feasible plan.
I’ll be there!
@johnpowell Are you camping in my backyard?
@rangerr :: That depends. Do you have room for three strangers? I will be going into Boston to meet a friend from high school and then pick up anther friend in NYC. Whitney said she is working on finding a hotel room so we might have a place. But I am down with meeting up for dinner and drinks.
Fuck, I wish. But I don’t have that kind of money/time and I’m pretty damn far away.
Ok, all of a sudden, it seems like I might be able to go. AWESOME!!!
@johnpowell Not sure if I’ll have room for 3, but I’m definitely game for dinner and maybe drinks. but I’m still a baby. AND WE GET TO COMPARE WRISTS.
No, I have no idea what that even means.
@YARNLADY So Glenn Beck had his rally to restore honor last month. Jon Stewart has decided to retaliate by holding rally to restore sanity (with signs like “I disagree with you but I’m pretty sure you’re not Hitler”) and Stephen Colbert is holding one (same place, same time, it’s duel event cuz that’s how they roll, baby…) to “keep the fear”. It’s probably going to be people just relaxing and having a good time than any kind of real message.
I also wish I could go, but I can’t afford two round trip tickets to Washington DC or the lost wages (my wife works weekends) so it looks like I won’t be attending :(
Hey @johnpowell I was looking at train tickets from OR myself. What was your price? Are you serious? My wife and I have lots of places to stay in DC, but we’ve been looking for transport. Any advice or ideas would be much appreciated.
