So, what did you think of the movie Devil?
All the horror people… what did you think?
I expected it to be horrible, as M. Night Shyamalan’s movies always are… and for the most part, it was meh… but the scene where you actually find out who the Devil is creeped me the F out.
I’m very interested in hearing other opinions specifically because this is M. Night. Shyamalan. The reason is because this is the first movie he hasn’t written, directed, AND appeared in, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this is the only of his pieces I liked.
Thoughts?

I’m not into horror movies except for psychological thrillers and whatever, but the plot seemed absolutely ridiculous. People + elevator + devil… is that it? Shamalananan (however you spell/say it) has outdone himself in the stupidity this time, I think.
Haven’t seen it yet. M. Night Shyamalan’s movies are never as good as you think they’re going to be. Like Will Farrell. But I want to see it anyway, and I hope to have a few Jumps. I lost almost half a bag of popcorn being startled during the most recent Resident Evil.
I’m not going to follow this thread, I don’t want a spoiler.
See, I don’t think i will see it at all… Sorry, I know your question was specifically about what I thought, and well, I’m kinda getting to that.
Sixth Sense was good not great mind you, but good Too Long
Unbreakable also good—not great, but watchable, love Bruce Willis and Sam Jackson—Too Long
Signs was eh, started okay, Aliens were stupid though. Too Long
The Village just sucked and was too long
Lady in the water sucked and was 2 hours too long
and they just keep getting suckier, haven’t bothered with The last air bender or The Devil and don’t plan to… M Night should have been a writer for Tales of the Crypt or something, good premise, I like the idea of some of his movies, but they could be told in 10 Minutes, and noone should have to sit through them for 2 hours.
@Fairylover78: I agree with you. Like I said, the movie was eh… but the reveal was so friggin creepy, it was worth it for me.
@Fairylover78 I don’t think I’d say Unbreakable was too long, it was only around an hour and a half.
@winters, true and it’s probably my favorites out of his movies if I had to pick one… I more mean that like most of his movies there were parts that were dragged out longer than needed, making it seem longer imo.
