It’s getting rather tiresome now, do you agree or not

Hopefully in the next 36 hours. I hate it.
The new Hollywood maxim seems to be “If you can’t make it good, make it 3D”
Blame all the people downloading movies illegally. This is one of the few ways the studios can make the theatrical experience unique. Miserably awful, but it’s all in the economics.
The thing that comforts me is the recent memory of the development of CGI. Right after Jurrasic Park every movie had a half-hearted attempt at CGI and 98% of it was awful. It’s gotten better and I hope the 3D will as well, but all that being said, we’ve only gotten to the point where about 58% of the CGI is awful and 93% of the time it’s being used in lieu of a plot so there’s not much hope.
I forgot it already, but now here you are…, mentioning it again….~
It’s not going to. Soon we will get 3D where we don’t even have to wear glasses. At that point, it’s off to the races. Maybe 4d will be next!
Probably when they perfect the hologram.
It faded out back in the 70’s.
I can’t see any of the current technology lasting for long. 3-D glasses are ridiculous.
It is rather amazing the 3-D effects that can be had with today’s off-the-shelf components.
It hurts my eyes. I would love to see it go bye bye.
I don’t really mind it but, when will the “really childish animal movie” fad end?
Oh you know movies that are all about animals. I don’t hate animals but I’ve noticed a whole lot of animal movies lately (or it’s just me)
Some Examples –
Happy Feet (I actually like this one but it seems like the start of this trend)
Marmaduke
Doogle
that movie with dog and cat spies
G-Force (is that what it’s called?)
The Legend of the Guardians
Hmmm…..true it’s probably just me and my over thinking self!
