My SO got me by being caring, intelligent, and oh so funny. He’s a great guy, and very compassionate. He listens to me, and that’s very important in a relationship. We have very good communication skills. Show interest in what she likes to do, and be willing to compromise. Let her know you are fun to be around, but also that you know how to deal with the serious things in life as well.

As I posted before. I tried , I failed. Think of her often. Alas it has been 30 some years.

And don’t forget to put the seat down and take out the garbage from time to time; hide little love notes in unexpected places, write sweet nothings on bathroom mirror w. soap. Rub her feet, rub her back, massage her scalp.

Be willing to say, “I’m sorry, “I make a mistake,” “good point,” when it is appropriate.

I let her be herself. I was the person who could finally know everything about her. Listen to her and be her best friend as well as a lover.

I was myself and she couldn’t help herself by kissing me, it really caught me off guard. My down to earth nature and great listening skills just made her fall and we have been inseparable since.

I don’t know. I still can’t figure out why she’s with me. But I’m not complaining.

I was myself, I always listened to her no matter what it was about.
I tried to help her out in every situation and treated her like the queen she is to me.
Also, it never hurts to make her laugh while still being able to make her melt by telling her how you feel as long as you are truthful and not lying just to get her.
