How are you spending your weekend?

I just came from church like 2 hours ago. I am gonna spend my night studying, watching the vampire diaries, the gates and something on youtube.

Well, today we are going to a barbeque, and tonight my husband is performing at a regional music industry showcase put on by a local radio station, playing in front of representatives for several record labels that are pretty huge in the Metal scene. So… fingers crossed!

Last night we had a short game session, and I got to talk to someone I am quite fond of into the wee hours of the morning. Today we are going to have ten hour game session. I am going to die. We’re also going to be showing one of our friends the best movie ever, The Gamers: Rise of the Dorkness. Probably going to smoke some j’s as well.

Tomorrow I am going to an antique photography fair, and I am super excited for it. I hope to pick up some antique photos, hopefully a vintage camera and maybe some darkroom equipment.

My girlfriend and I have been travelling every weekend, plus, I have had night school, which is more travelling (3 nights away), so, this weekend, we’re staying put.

I am heading over to her place shortly. We’re going to work on my coffee table (sanding, staining, and arranging photos, plus applying the epoxy resin); she is going to work on her struts (her car), I’ll just be there to give her tools (and check out her bum when she’s bent over :)); then we’re going to make some lunch, curl up on the couch together and watch Michigan play (football – which I could care less about, but, to have her snuggled up into me with my arms wrapped around her will be worth it); then we’re going to go into town tonight and check out some live music, followed by a campfire in her backyard. Tomorrow, probably make breakfast, after we’ve stayed in bed together a good part of the morning. :)

Next weekend, it’s the Art Prize in Grand Rapids, Mich, followed by some blues at Billy’s.

College football! It’s the first time two top ten teams have played in Fayetteville in 31 years. I’m nervous and excited!

Had a fairly busy day today, worked in the morning and then travelled to my singing lesson which is an hour and a halfs drive away.

Tomorrow I am chilling out at my dads house while he works all day so that his dog won’t be left alone for too long.

Cleaning and watching movies.. ooo exciting. Might go buy a game to conquer.

@ucme woo-woot! :) My mate is Man. U fan. The plan, when I go to see her, I’m going to check out a footie game. I don’t care who wins. I’ll just root for the team with the prettiest kits and drink some good lager. I’ll be screaming like the rest of ‘em. :)

Today, just puttering, tomorrow, hopefully road tripping with Katawgrey to a bead show where we’ll spend too much money on teeny-tiny things and eat at mom&pop diners. A seriously fave activity…

Today I’ll be reading for Structure of Language and World Literature I (and taking notes in the texts as necessary.) If I can get a creative spark lit, I’ll take a crack at writing a bit more of various stories I have going. Tomorrow, I’ll be writing a paper for my English Renaissance course and completing the rest of our assignments for the course (writing a 250-word essay, reading the introduction to our textbook, and scanning a few poems.)

First “week” back (it was only two days) and I have already accumulated a sizable plate of homework. The joys of being a senior at university :)

Reading and cleaning; cleaning and reading and cooking. blah.

Watching college football today; tomorrow—we’ll see.

Had a big yard sale with my friend, we made out! Fun day.
Now..about 6:13 pm on the west coast, a heat wave has nabbed us again. Around 96 or so.

I have just enjoyed a nice happy brownie and soon I will be standing in my cool hot tub with the hose in bliss out water the plants mode while I soak. lol

Today, I went to some panels at the inaugural Williamsburg Film Festival and saw some shorts. Had brunch and did some networking. Did some writing. Tomorrow, my pals and I are going to hang out for part of the day at the DUMBO Arts Festival and I will send out some more resumes.

Cleaning, gaming, bonfire, drinking, all concluded by a big and soft snuggly bed. Sleeping in is most certainly on the menu, if only as a tribute to Ravenloft.
