It already has, don’t you think? All of those questions were answered.
@gailcalled Well, I guess you’re right and now this question has been answered!
I’m not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, but I’d say we’ve got some ailing jellies around here.
Do you really have 197 activity for you?
@KatawaGrey Actually, it’s 203 at this point. Didn’t meant to air my dirty laundry in public.
Not necessarily a clinic, but an advisory panel before heading into one. I truly believe that it is better going in to a doctor’s appointment armed with information than to just wing it based upon a doctor’s advice.
It sure would help a lot of us who are without health insurance. Get on that, @lillycoyote, ok? ;)
@augustlan Well, if you have been denied health insurance due to a pre-existing condition, this part of the health care reform legislation is already up and running. I’m in the process of applying for it now. My COBRA benefits ran out about 3½ years ago and I have been without health insurance ever since because I was denied coverage by two insurance companies due to pre-existing conditions.
@lillycoyote Yeah, I already looked into that. Sadly, I’m not eligible until November. After two years with no insurance, we briefly had it, and then lost it again. You have to have been without for the previous 6 months, and we’re not quite there yet. I’m glad it’s going to work out immediately for you, though. :)
@augustlan Well, you’re almost there! It’s been a little scary these past few years, knowing that if a serious illness or injury happened to me I could lose everything, my house, my savings, all that; that I could end up sick and homeless.
Oh, man. I know what you mean. It’s been really awful.
