Is it bad for pregnant women to take hot baths or is that a myth?

It is OK to take hot baths within limits:
“Yes, as long as the water temperature isn’t over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. If you have to ease your foot into the tub, it’s too hot. If you’re comfortable getting into the water, the temperature is close to your own body temperature, which is where you want it. Anything hotter can damage your baby’s developing cells, and though you can cool off by sweating, your baby can’t. ”

^ Yeah, that.
I’ve always taken hot baths, and I think I would have died if I couldn’t use a good hot bath to ease my achin’ back. I take ‘em lobster-hot, too. Stick a fork in me, I’m done. ^_^
You should be careful taking hot baths… you don’t want it extremely hot, overall thats just not good for you…. but it does feel really nice! While your pregnant just ease up on the temp. While your pregnant you should relax, and look after yourself as best as possible, that means somethings you might just have to skip.
