What does NSFW in brackets mean?

Just wondering what the abbreviation means ..I’ve never seen it before until I became part of the collective.

Not Safe For Work—a question that either has within it, or that is likely to generate answers with prurient content. The idea is that if it starts with that prefix and someone is at work or in a crowd where such content might be deemed inappropriate (minor children watching the screen) the user can skip over such questions.

I figured it was something similar to “viewer discretion is advised” based on the type of questions I’ve seen it on.
