Have you ever attempted or been successful at breakdancing?

When I was about that age, I freakin’ loved breakdancing. I was also a huge Michael Jackson fan. I did try to breakdance, emulating the moves I’d seen people do, but I don’t think I was really that great at it. Just very enthusiastic. :P

No, I’m worse than Elaine on Seinfeld when attempting to dance. I’m usually asked to leave the dance floor before I hurt another dancer.

Ha! ...no. I can’t dance to save my life. But it certainly does look like fun.

We would watch the Michael Jackson videos too and I just remembered the getting-on-your-back-and-spin move. I think that’s all I really ever did. Honestly, I don’t think I even ever thought about what others would think of me. It’s great exercise, though!

My 5th grade birthday party was a breakdancing party. We used to steal the large foam cigarette billboards from out front of 7–11 and use them to do head and backspins on. I am 35 now and I can still tornado, headspin and backspin, one right in to the other.
I know own a bar that has breakdancing at it sometimes. It’s rad!

@KhiaKarma you know which ones I am talking about? They were about 4×4 and stuck in to those metal square frames in front of gas stations and stuff? those were rad.
