When is the last time you were sick?

I have a cold right now, thanks to someone at work passing it on to me and due to extreme tiredness and my own clumsiness I have a VERY swollen ankle I am sofa bound for 24 hours… bored stupid…thank goodness for fluther!!

Sheesh! Bad luck. Hope you feel better. Drink Sprite , have some chicken soup. Hope you feel better.

I have a cold right now, too. In fact, I’m up because my nose won’t stop running and I keep coughing and I keep waking up. I’ve had this darn thing for a week now and havn’t slept well the whole time.

It has been well over a year since I have had a cold or flu. Which is a bit odd since I live with three petri dishes (AKA : kids that go to school).

Just before my wedding in May this year. I NEVER get sick (i can’t even remember the time before that that i was sick, probably 5 years or so), but somehow this potent cold/flu thing got to me. It lasted a few days, nothing unusual.

Without counting times that i ate something bad, it would have been as a child, measles. and lasted about a week i would guess.

I had morning sickness yesterday morning that lasted all day. :(

One year ago, with a cold.

Last year around the start of winter.

I’ve been sick for the last two weeks with some flu -like thing.

I had a bad belly from sucking down river water while water-skiing a month or so ago. Very un-fun

In Jan. – Feb. of this year, I caught a cold that turned into bronchitis. It lasted about 3 miserable weeks.

A year and a half ago, and it was a cold.

A couple months ago when I came back from my honeymoon, the pollen in our area was high and the next day my allergies hit me like a brick to the face. Took me almost a week to get rid of the sinus pressure and headaches.

I only get sick about once a year, but when I do it’s usually pretty bad and lasts a week or so.

About two weeks ago. It was a mixture of alcohol (in my defence I only had ONE Margharita!), heat and lack of food (hence why the alcohol affected me so badly). I was on holiday in Vegas at the time but thankfully, as soon as I was sick, I felt fine.

Not since about 18 months ago. I had swine flu and it ended up as pneumonia. I was off work for 3 weeks. Nothing since then but one very slight cold.

On my birthday. But I had a really good time.
