So many…
Edward Elgar, Johann Sebastian Bach, Frédéric Chopin, Johann Pachelbel and Tomaso Albinoni
More recently the music of Ennio Morricone
….Sorry i couldn’t choose just one :D
I don’t really have a favorite composer, but my favorite conductor is Leonard Bernstein. But if you put a gun to my head to chose one, I guess Mozart.
I listen to Vivaldi the most :)
Who is yours?
Strauss waltzes remind me of my dad,so they have a special place in my heart
:)
@lucillelucillelucille I love Vivaldi, he’s my favorite composer, but Beethoven is amazing too. I love his music. So dark sometimes, and then happy. Kind of like my life.
@Aesthetic_Mess -I listened to Vivaldi the other day while painting…and then some Frank Zappa. It was nice
:))
I like Bach and Beethoven.
Vivaldi is one I’ve liked for a long time. Most recently someone turned me on to Pachelbel and Mascagni.
Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Gustav Mahler, Dmitri Shostakovich, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Maurice Ravel, etc.
Tchaikovsky will probably always be #1.
Vivaldi and Rachmaninoff are up there. Gotta say Gershwin though.
I love many, but I’m heavy into 20th Century composers these days. My favorite is Ralph Vaughan Williams. His music is heavenly. Listen to the soundtrack of a wonderful old movie titled “The 49th Parallel.” Incredibly melodic and evocative.
