And this has nothing to do with the title, but I’m just wondering… Are there any Libertarian Congressmen?

I believe no Libertarian candidate has been elected president for 2 reasons. First, money. Second, they do not have message that appeals to a majority of the electorate.
There are no Libertarian Party members of Congress. Some members may lean that way, but none have been elected from that party.
Because not enough people thought they would make the better president.
Ron Paul is a Libertarian Congressman, although he ran for his current seat as a Republican.
Libertarianism has some appeal to both liberals and conservatives. Their ideology – Libertarians’ ideology – is, however, pretty rigid, and regarded by most as utopian and eminently impractical. Most people, like Paul, who hold to Libertarian ideals are in the Republican party. Those who run as candidates, and those who vote for them, could be considered idealists; however, the party usually draws a fair amount of the protest vote.
