Is there anyone on Fluther you dislike?

Not particularly, and yes – at least, almost always.

There are about 2 or 3 here that I don’t like.

Everyone on here I’ve ever disliked usually disappears after a while not because of anything I do to them

Mind you I think some people on here are enormous nerds.

I don’t think there’s anyone I actively dislike. I used to think there were people I always disagreed with, but then they’d surprise me and say something I agreed with. The only people who have ever been dis-civil with me seem to be gone.

Yeah, there are some people I don’t like here. I just choose not to talk to them.

I’m here to remind everyone that they do and will always have someone to hate on Fluther.

I don’t ’‘dislike’’ anyone, but there are some people I’d really rather not talk with, whether we agree on shit or not. Besides I can’t dislike someone I barely know, if know at all, ya know?

No, No and yes. There is a particular jelly I love most of their comments to other people but they’ve been particularly vicious to me and no, I don’t know them irl. does it make me sick I can’t help but give them GA to stuff when they treat me like shite? Oh wells.

I have to steer clear of irrational people or I’ll get very frustrated. If someone is rational I don’t have a problem with them since we can talk about disagreements or agree to disagree.

I don’t dislike anyone. I can disagree with a person in one thread but the very next one we could feel exactly the same about. The only people hard to tolerate are the ones who have closed minds and expect everyone to feel the same as them about a subject. Mega annoying…

There’re been people one here that I’ve wanted to smack around quite a bit but on the other side of the coin, I’m sure some people on here have wanted to smack me around a bit.

I sometimes have a problem with reading words because of the context I sometimes put with them. Most of the time on here, I just assume people sound like this as they type and that they don’t mean anything bad by whatever they say.

There are definitely people I frequently disagree with and yes, I’d say there are a couple I dislike. Not enough that I loathe them or anything, but I just prefer that they don’t ever talk to me. :)

(And just because I frequently disagree with someone doesn’t mean that I dislike them).

I think I like everyone. I definitely wouldn’t say that I dislike anyone, though one or two people rub me the wrong way.

He used to say things about how we need to replace the Mexican immigrants with Asians because the Asians were so much more useful and intelligent. I could really go on for a while.

I don’t actually KNOW any of the people on Fluther! I can read what people have to say and I may disagree with how they think or how they say it, but the fact remains that I don’t KNOW anyone on Fluther (well, except Delirium and she is a sweetheart). People can present themselves in a variety of ways. How I am on Fluther may or may not be how I am in real life (I honestly don’t know).

I do like to help people and in real life a lot of people ask me questions so that part is very similar. But Fluther has taught me a lot. For one thing, I have had to accept that everyone has an opinion even if they don’t know jack about the subject. That has proved to be a valuable lesson in real life (it doesn’t seem to be much different). When I accept that what people type on Fluther is just their opinion (and a couple people actually know stuff), then what they type is fine with me. This is not my real world . . .

This is a fun place I go for an escape, to respond to questions and to see how other people respond to questions. I can’t really dislike people I don’t know.

I don’t dislike people, but I do dislike their opinions on here.

Nah, I’m happy with the diversity of personalities. As for answers from someone that I always disagree with, there probably would be if this site was limited to one particular topic, like politics or religion. Thankfully, Fluther isn’t like that.

I sort of even miss spotting Pink Panty Guy cropping up every once in awhile.

Nah. Not realy dislike, though sometimes I holler at them while I read their posts. I get whatever it is off my chest and move on and forget about it. There are a couple who remind me a bit but I don’t lose sleep over people who disagree with me. They’re enitled to their opinions.

There are only one or two that I actively dislike, and there are a few that I can think of off the top of my head that make me facepalm or cringe with nearly everything they post.

Disagree with, yes. Dislike or hate I would say no. Who on here could anyone actually hate another user? I’ve read alot of posts (unless I’ve missed something here) and for the most part I can’t see anything (outside of differences in opinions on a certain topic) that would cause someone to “hate” any user on here. Isn’t that a little immature?

@mammal How is it “such a resentment”? There’s a big difference between disliking and hating.

I hate and I keep a list of people I refuse to help with computer problems. Homophobia and racism gets you on that list. But I am sure you wouldn’t want help from me anyways.

Is this question is really allowed to be posted on fluther? I think it’s not a good idea to attack other people’s reputation here (even though you think they’re bad people). I have to say that there were some people that I used to hate here but later I found out that these people are actually good people with misunderstood behavior. I appreciate every disagreement and rational conflict here but those who have no toleration toward other people and attack others to satisfy their personal satisfaction wouldn’t be my friend,EVER. I prefer not to mention their names.

There are a few that I try to hate, but then they make me laugh, or are sudenly insightful and compassionate, or say something that touches my heart. Sucks the wind right outta my sails… I’m so confused

First impressions seem to make or break how I perceive a jelly and almost every single time I form a bummer negative impression of someone, down the road they either redeem themselves or I see I simply mischaracterized them. I have found all in all, everyone is here to just have fun and goof around a bit.
