Is the Universe sending us Holiday Greetings?

This is as close as we are likely to get to a Christmas Greeting card from Space. The Wreath Nebula, complete with bow and silver bells, was photographed by NASA’s WISE telescope. This Holiday Greeting came to you from 1,000 light years away, and was delivered on time. How about that?
And whether the Universe really meant IRAS Ring G159.6–18.5 (It’s real name—Wreath Nebula is a convenient alias) as a Holiday Greeting to the people of Fluther, I do. Happy Holidays, everyone, and a prosperous New Year.

THE ALIENS ARE COMING, THE ALIENS ARE COMING!
Merry Christmas. Don’t hurt us!
Aw splendid. Well I wouldn’t say it’s “sending” as it has been sent and finally arrived!
@ETpro
Yes I saw and it. Space Angels.
I posted it on another sight.
I appreciate your posting it here because positivity is a good thing. I wish more people could be positive. It makes life more pleasant.
Thank you @ETpro. It must be a good omen. Mustn’t it?
Happy Christmas, everybody. How wonderful it all is.
Merry Christmas! And God bless us! Everyone! :D
@TheIntern55 If the aliens put that up there to announce their arrival, then I’m ready to welcome them.
@JilltheTooth You are welcome, and know that it was my pleasure to share it.
@whitetigress Well following the hypothesis that the Universe :sent” it as a massage, then clearly knowing tha value of C the Universe intended it to get here just now.
@philosopher Thanks for the positive feedback, and Holiday Greetings to you.
@Sunny2 I;m not a believer in omens, not a denier they could exist. And clearly if they fo exist, they yes, this is a good one.
@bea2345 Amen to that! The wonder of the Universe is beyond my capacity to understand, but that doesn’t mean I will ever give up trying.
@Hawaii_Jake Glad to bring some beauty to you. Happy Holidays.
@Blackberry I will accept that. God or the Universe or whoever is in charge, please do belss us. And if nobody is in charge, I;ll do the honors. Blessed be.
@ETpro I’m ready for the zombie apocolypse, but I haven’t gotten my alien invasion emergency pack togetther yet. I didn’t think they would come so soon!
Maybe wreaths are a sign of death like swatsikas used to be signs of peace.
@TheIntern55 Granted it is an unusual Holiday choice, but we watched Cowboys and Aliens Christmas Eve. If you haven’t seen it,.and think such things are interesting, I highly recommend the movie.
^Nah. I like happy cheery happily ever after movies. VIolence isn’t my thing:(
Christmas cards are exemplified letters of greeting exchanged among friends and family members throughout the weeks proceeding Christmas Day. The old-style greeting reads “wishing you a Merry Christmas”. http://bestchristmasmessages.com/
