Uber and Lyft users: Do you care one bit or not if your driver is a "good conversationalist"?

Whenever you use Uber or Lyft you get to see the attributes of the driver before you summons them.
One of the attributes they often say is “great conversationalist”. Who cares about this? Do you really care? Does it matter one bit?

It’s very low on my list of priorities.
I don’t care. I just want a safe ride to where I’m going. I don’t need to be entertained.
I would much rather they be someone who isn’t trying to rank as a “good conversationalist”.
I am offended that they even have that ranking, and that feature tends to make me hostile towards both companies.
I don’t care. It’s more important if they’re a good driver, and secondarily if the car interior is clean.
Not really. Tolerable. I usually want to just get from point A, to point B. I don’t care much for talking to a stranger. If I can tolerate them until I get where I am going, that works.
I suppose if I were on vacation somewhere, I would prefer to converse with a local. But. In my city, I just needed a ride…
For me, a pleasant conversation with the driver is an added plus because I enjoy learning about people.
I have had silent drivers and I have had loquacious drivers. The talkers make the trip go faster, but it isn’t an essential requirement for a good ride.
Better a silent driver than one who blathers for the sake of talking.
I’m a talker & I love hearing about others; so although NOT a requirement for me to use the service, I do find a good conversationalist to be a PLUS as the ride goes by a LOT faster & I find that the sound of silence is deafening!!!
No, I would rather they not talk to me.
It is not high on my list. If it said “quiet and reserved” it would not affect my choice of drivers.
However, I might have second thoughts if it said “shitty conversationalist”. I would rather have silence than incessant banal chatter.
Now, if it said “free beer en route”......
I’ve had a couple of drivers lacking social skills. Think playing loud music, or mumbling if I ask a question. That’s definitely unpleasant.
I initiate conversations with drivers so I guess I care. One favorite question is when somebody is from a warm country I ask what it was like to see snow for the first time. I’m a little jealous I didn’t get to experience that as a conscious child or adult.
No, I don’t. I never say a word to them unless they ask me something and my answers are usually terse (but polite). I always give them a good rating for that category regardless. @Zaku Agreed. My friend is a Lyft driver and doesn’t much care for that area of ranking.
I would prefer to be left alone.
I would be happy enough if they did not turn out to be rapists.
I just need them to be fluent enough to understand where I am going.
I have had drivers whose English is so bad the meter is ticking away and they are still trying to “get it”.
Zero care. Most care about how much the fare would be and how low it should be. lol
