Has anyone run out naked from the fire alarm?
You are supposed to leave immediately right? Or is it ok to put clothes and shoes on?

Not me. An alarm was triggered though when I ran out naked.
Use common sense, and that means 99% of the time put your clothes on.
Supposed it were -10 degrees C in January. It would be well worth the 2 minutes it would take to put on a shirt and pants. Otherwise you’re trading one bad thing, (potential for fire) for another. (freezing).
Like so many things, there is not one canonical answer. You have to apply a little common sense.
I always have house shoes or flip flops beside my bed and a robe on the back of my door. Shoes are very important so you don’t step on burning embers or as above, if it is freezing outside, to protect your feet.
But no, I have never ran out of a burning building naked.
Only fire alarm besides practice drills happened during my Navy days, when I lived in barracks. Everyone was wrapped in their blankets.
Some of the guys were eyeballing the crowd, probably looking for any young ladies who perhaps forgot their blanket. Some of us were barefoot, on frosted grass, but it didn’t last long.
Stupid girl emptied her ashtray right after putting out a cig, and didn’t notice it wasn’t actually out. She took the trash can to the shower and put it out.
Stupid bitch got a commendation for her quick action!
No, but I’m willing to try.
It would depend, of course, on how very immediate the threat is. If I was ON fire I’d run out naked. If I had the time I’d….take a shower, and get dressed and brush my hair and do my nails…
When my building burned, on 11 August 2017, an elderly lady was trapped within the townhouse where the fire had started and quickly become a raging inferno. A brave man raced into the fire and carried her outside. She was naked. Because of this, some onlookers were reluctant to touch her while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Fortunately, other people were happy that she was alive and rushed to help.
