Will Trump dare to pardon Roger Stone before the election?
Or will he pardon him at all?

Whichever course he thinks will serve his own interests best, as with every other decision he makes.
Seriously? Of course he will. He’s bulletproof.
Of course he will. And as good Dems, ya’ll should support him. A 67 year old non violent, first time offender? That’s your social justice reform dream!
You’re telling us that like Trump we should be “soft on crime”? What kind of conservative are you?
@stanley Everyone’s betting you guys hate Trump so much you won’t support Stones pardon. Even media.
For the life of me, I do not understand how you conflate alarm at the fool’s flagrant and open corruption of the judicial process with hatred. Honest to God, if you cannot understand the implications of Trump’s intervention in the sentencing of so despicable and clearly guilty a sleazeball as Stone, you either don’t recognize criminal corruption when it stares you in the face, or you are willing to endorse rampant and open disruption of the rule of law. The fool is undermining EVERY principle and institution fundamental to our democracy. And he’s doing it right out in the open.
@stanleybmanly It’s all political maneuvering. Nothing shocks me anymore with the corruption in DC on both sides.
“The department was shocked to see the sentencing recommendation,” a senior DOJ official told ABC News. “This was not what had been briefed to the department and the department thinks the recommendation was extreme, excessive and grossly disproportionate to Stone’s offenses and the department will clarify its position later today at the court.” DOJ spokesperson Kerri Kupec asserted, without providing evidence, that the decision to change the sentencing recommendation was made prior to Trump’s tweet, according to ABC. Kupec did not respond to questions from Mother Jones.

Do you know why Kupec dare not respond or why the 4 prosecutors withdrew? Our fool (as usual) does not understand the magnitude of what he is attempting. More to the point, he has appointed underlings in the chain of command either as inept or corrupt as himself. This is NOT simply a political maneuver. It is a direct frontal assault on the sanctity of law. And it is the profound and intolerable consequence of an ignorant dummy at the wheel. It is such an egregious and unprecedented violation of protocol and due process that it alone might warrant impeachment.
