What is the article of the Italian Code of Criminal Procedure that grants you the right against self-incrimination?

Asked by luigirovatti (2939points) December 15th, 2021

The equivalent of the Fifth Amendment in the USA. I wanted to ask also if (improbable) you had any experience with Italian trials.

Looks like it is an EU-level right.

I have zero first-hand experience with Italian trials, and have only read a few articles about a few legal cases, none of which really got into the details much at all.
