They will give him every chance to do just that.
But the way The Don Father keeps incriminating himself they may not be able to.

Any plea bargain should require Trump to refrain from publicly claiming that he won the presidential election.

I am afraid the government might just continue to bend over backwards in cutting this dangerous idiot more slack, when the only credible solution is to disregard his genuine defense of incompetent mental impairment and crush him for the venomous bug that threatens us all.

No, I want to see him in handcuffs.

Plea bargains only work when the person has something of value that can be bargained with.

What does Trump have that he could use to bargain with?

Would anyone believe any promise he might make?

Answers: Zero. No.

No bargaining.

He can certainly claim himself mentally impaired to the extent that he is unable to participate in his own defense. Who can you find willing to dispute that? Would you under oath gauge Trump’s marbles in place?

Just one more of his lawyers he’s screwed. And Patel is on his way down the toilet as well. You know the pig is actually unwillingly performing a great public service, through singlehandedly sweeping the legal profession of its crooked and inept attorneys. No mean feat! Trump is a virtual shyster magnet. Even more deplorable is his apparent talent for reducing any able talent to shyster status overnight. It’s actually rather remarkable.

I think he’ll try attorney-client privilege except – - – - “Additionally, communications made to an attorney for the purposes of furthering a crime are not entitled to this privilege” !

Like obstruction of DOJ subpoena in June. She signed off all items on subpoena were turned over.

That’s why she’s a goner, and any lawyer he hires is doomed, because the bottom line in dealing with the man is that he will not allow you to remain in a room or on the phone with him for 5 minutes without the requirement that you condone and participate in LYING. The ONLY function Trump has for any lawyer is in devising or modifying lies he might get away with. When the lawyer goes to jail or is ruined reputationally, it’s never Trump’s fault. The lawyer just wasn’t good at his job (lying).

Maybe the overdue library book will work?
The fact that he lied about the overdue book, and refused to surrender it makes no difference.
