Why does my computer at work display Fluther in non-graphics mode?

Asked by LostInParadise (32162points) October 9th, 2010

This is what Fluther looks like at work. Not that I spend a lot of work time on Fluther, but it is nice for taking a quick break. I can answer questions but I can’t answer them. My guess is that it has something to do with firewalls.

The CSS file isn’t loading. Try holding down shift while you reload the page.

that’s very interesting. I have discovered that my screen looks different than most others too, as I don’t have the border around the page that most people seem to have. My page begins at the blue line on the right and ends at the blue line on the left.

your administrator has shut off the graphics from this site. big puzzle is why he/she has not just blacklisted this site as a time-waster.

@LostInParadise Has this been resolved for you yet?

@timtrueman , When I get back to work tomorrow, I will try @johnpowell ’ s suggestion. If @anartist is correct then there is not anything that I can do.

I’m mostly puzzled by how you can answer questions but not answer them. That’s a conundrum that I’ll probably have in the back of my head all day now.

What I meant to say is that I can answer questions but can’t ask them.
