Do guys ACTUALLY watch porn together?

They do…I’ve seen/heard of it many times! I always thought it was a bit strange, too. Girls will look at porn together, but in a kind of “you have got to see this” kind of way, not watch to the conclusion.

My friends and I used to do this in high school.
It was a mixed group of guys and girls.

We’d put it on mute and make up our own dialogue.
It was a hoot. I don’t think anyone got aroused.
The only time people were rolling around
was because they were laughing so hard.

I’ve watched porn with a guy before. It was kind of awkward. For me more than him. He just gave me a look like “So.. you wanna do it?” and I wasn’t interested in him at all.

@Allie: Totally depends on the guy, and your relationship with him. In other circumstances than you describe, it can be loads of fun!

I typically watch alone, however in high school I have watched it with friends for comedic value.

I guess I never had a problem with it, my memory was good enough that I could preserve the imagery until I was alone. I think maybe it’s a sign of the times that this question would even be asked. I grew up in the 80s, in a small town…there was no internet and I lived too far out of town to even get cable, much less pay per view. There were no purveyors of porn in my community, so in order to get porn you either had to send away for it, or buy a video when you were in a bigger town. So for me and my friends it was like if you actually got hold of a porno tape, yeah you’d get together and watch it, why not? You could comment on the action or the particular girls and what you’d do if anyone who even looked a tenth as good as that ever gave you the time of day. At some point you’d be alone in your bedroom, the bathroom or whatever, just you and your memories. Nowadays if you have the internet, you can find porn, no need to get excited about it. Back then though, you’d get a porn movie, you’d have a friend or two watch it with you, then when THEY aquired a porno they’d let you watch it.

Then of course there is a social aspect if it’s like a bachelor party or something of that nature. I mean, no one questions that guys go in groups to strip clubs, it’s really the same things…last bachelor party I hosted, the groom to be really had no interest in having a stranger shove her pierced labia in his face, but he thought it would be fun to watch a couple GGW DVDs. There can be a social element to it where you make comments and sort of regress to a caveman mentality.
